Katie-Ellen is the 3-time Canadian National 5k Open Water Swimming Champion. That’s unrelated to comedy, but it’s still pretty impressive. Arguably more impressive than the time she opened for Bruce McCulloch (Kids in the Hall) at San Francisco SketchFest, or her role as writer and performer in the award-winning comedy cabaret Atomic Vaudeville. It’s certainly more impressive than being twice selected to perform at the famous Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle Washington or performing at the Vancouver Global Comedy Festival & Bridgetown Comedy Festivalin Portland, Oregon. Katie-Ellen has been making a name for herself throughout the Pacific Northwest, entertaining audiences with her sharp wit, inventive imagination and cavernous dimples. Winning over crowds wherever she performs, Katie-Ellen hopes to soon have a more impressive credit than that weird swimming thing.
